A picturesque café that's always buzzing with cosiness

Café Het Paleis is located right behind the Damn square on the corner of the Singel and the Paleisstraat. On this lively corner you can receive an authentic impression of the city. It's a spot where you can spend a lot of time just looking at everyone and everything passing by.

In the morning we play classical music while our neighbors stop by for a coffee. Our breakfast consists of croissants, scrambled eggs, bacon, coffee and fresh pressed juices. Everything on our menu is homemade and prepared in our open kitchen. We have one menu for the entire day, so getting a sandwich at 16:00h is no problem at all!

During the summer the terrace is the best place to be. It's easy to come to rest upon your chair next to the Singel canal with a bottle of Rosé until the late hours of the evening. Here you can find the calm within the touristic storm of Amsterdam and youll feel right at home!
